Iowa Western's De'Quon Lake scored 38 points and hauled in 13 rebounds to lead the Reivers to a 110-73 victory over Central Community College. Out of 19 shots, Lake only missed two attempts.

For the Raiders, it was a tale of two halves. The score at halftime was 43-40 in favor of IWCC. In the second half, CCC was outscored 57-33.

"We played a very good first half against Iowa Western and executed our offense well," said CCC head coach Jerry Drymon. "Ultimately they just had to much size and we couldn't protect the paint."

Marco Fabietti led the Raiders in scoring with 16 points, while Logan Fleming added 13 points.

The loss gives CCC a mark of 11-7. The Raiders will return to Raider Fieldhouse on Saturday, Jan. 21, for a 3 p.m. contest against Northeast Community College.
