The Central Community College women's soccer team lost to Northeast Community College, 1-0, on Thursday afternoon at Raider Field.
Northeast's Aidyn Woodall scored the game's only goal in the 35th minute with Kyler Bowman on the assist.
"Although I will never be satisfied with a loss, I am extremely happy with the way we played," said CCC head coach Jamie Bennett. "We lost 7-0 last year to the same team so it's a testament of the hard work these girls have put in."
CCC netminder Natalie Crouse made nine saves on the day while Northeast goalies Caroline Stahlmann and Hannah Thornell combined for seven saves.
